Infrared Rays:

Frequency:
Infrared waves frequency ranges from 300 GHz to 400 THz.

Wavelength:

They have a wavelength that ranges from 750 nm to 1 mm.

Practical Applications:
Infrared Rays are found in TV remotes, cellular devices, and thermal imaging.

Negative Factors/Health Precautions:

Infrared rays are useful, but overexposure can cause
gradual but irreversible opacity of the lens and disrupt, alter or destroy body cells.

Future possibilities/interesting facts:
Infrared Rays are not visible to the human eye unless a special tool is used. Although we can't see them, we
we experience infrared rays through heat.

Location On The Spectrum:
Infrared Rays are the third on the spectrum having the third longest wavelength.
